This three weeks the 4rd
grade pupils have worked hard in science.
We have made a Solar System. We
have used a shoebox, a newspaper, toilet paper, sticks and wood glue.
First we covered the shoebox with
the newspaper and the toilet paper. While the box was drying we painted the
planets and we glue them on the sticks. Then we painted the shoebox and we
decorated it with comets and stars. At the end we put the sticks in the
shoebox.
We were studying the 8 planets,
Mercury, Venus, The Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto
which is a dwarf planet.
Estas
tres semanas los chicos de 4º han estado trabajando duro en science.
Hemos
hecho un sistema solar. Hemos usado una caja de zapatos, un periódico, papel
higiénico, palos y cola.
Primero
hemos cubierto la caja con papel de periódico y papel higiénico. Mientras la
caja se estaba secando hemos pintado los planetas y los hemos pegado en los
palos. Después lo hemos pintado y decorado
con cometas y estrellas. Alfinal hemos puesto los palos en la caja.
Hemos
estudiado los 8 planetas, Mercurio, Venus, la tierra, Marte, Júpiter, Saturno,
Urano, Neptuno y Plutón que es un planeta enano.
Today we have made a thermometer.
We used alcohol, water, a straw, plasticine and a bottle.
We put water and alcohol inside
the bottle and Jimena colored the mixture with colorant. Then we closed the
bottle and we put the straw in the bottle covered with plasticine.
When we finished we put them on
the radiator and we could see how the mixture went up with heat and how it went
down with cold.
Hoy
hemos hecho un termómetro. Hemos usado alcohol, plastilina, agua, una pajita y
una botella.
Hemos
puesto agua y alcohol en la botella y Jimena nos pintó la mezcla con colorante.
Después cerramos la botella y pusimos la pajita dentro y la tapamos con
plastilina.
Cuando acabamos las pusimos en el radiador y
pudimos ver como la mezcla subía con el calor y bajaba
con el frio.
